Tears

Well, once again I have really slacked off on writing. I need to be better. Not really much to write about. The Tour de France is up and running. Poor Hubby is crying his eyes out because we don't have VS so he can't watch it. Don't worry Hubby, one day there will be enough money to go to watch the tour in France instead of on tv. And, being the wonderful wife I am, I will send you a postcard. Maybe some text pictures!

No Fears

Well, I haven't posted in a while and I don't have much to write about. No new fun pictures. Hubby is off at another training. He called the other night to tell me they had to go to the basement of the hotel because the tornado sirens were going off. But don't worry... the bikes are home with me so at least they are safe!;)

Home Safe

Well Hubby is home safe from teaching his class in Idaho. Helga also returned safe=) The last picture he sent was of the bike still in the bubbling stream. He wrote "I leave her alone for a minute and he checks her out."
It was the guy he teaches with. So much bike envy. Last week while I was taking him to his friends house that he was going to Idaho with someone rode by on their bike. Of course they have to check each others bikes out. It's a good thing the windows were up because Hubby says "Hey! That guy was checking out my bike! Don't check out my bike. You can check out my wife all you want, but don't check out my bike!" It's good Tatianna wasn't with us. He may have turned around and confronted that guy=)

Now for those of you who don't know my hubby it is important that I point out that he is totally kidding when he says things like this. It makes us laugh pretty good! It really makes us laugh when his cycling buddies make comments too. We were at Lotoja one year and one of his friends almost got beat up when he starts walking towards a couple and shouts out "Nice rack!" He of course was talking about the guys bike rack on his car, not his wife. Ahh.....the life, of a wife, of a cyclist. The torment we go through!

Because the ride wasn't hard enough

Like I said, Helga doesn't have it as easy as Tatianna. Hubby sent me a picture last night. After riding all day, he still made Helga lift a few weights. But I got another picture this morning. He was feeling on the generous side today I guess. He let Helga relax a bit in the bubbling brooks. The boy needs help!

That's Too Bad...

My dear hubby is currently in Idaho Falls with Helga teaching a bike class. The other night he sent me a picture of him eating at Leatherbys. Last night he let me listen over the phone while he scraped up the last of his brownie sunday. That is so mean of him to eat at Leatherbys without his lovely wife. What is the consequence for this you may ask? Well, I can't punish him too bad, but I can say that it is just too bad his new Performance Bike magazine fell in the trash....accidently of course.

My Purpose

Well, I have finally started a blog. My hopes in doing this are to help other wives and husbands be supportive of their loved ones sick addictions......cycling. Cycling is my husbands love, his addiction, or as I like to refer to it as, his other wife. When a cycling magazine comes in the mail, I tell him his bike smut has arrived. I once found a Nashbar magazine stashed under the bed. I threw it at him and asked him what this smut was doing under the bed. There are two sisterwives in our family. His road bike and his mountain bike. We have named them and refer to them by name. The road bike is Tatianna. His mail order bride. She is to be dealt with softly. She gets to go on many trips. She has been to New York, Seattle and a few other places. He sends me pictures of the two of them enjoying their trips. When he was in New York, I got pictures of Tatianna in the shower, along the streets and even in bed with him. And this is why I refer to them as his other wives. Helga (the mountain bike) on the other hand is not as loved. She goes on a few trips with him, but doesn't get the love that Tatianna does. I don't think she has ever been showered or snuggled. Poor Helga.
